Logitech’s very first trackball mouse was born in 1989. The first models used a mechanical system to register the movements of the ball. From 1995, with the introduction of the first TrackMan Marble, the switch was made to optical sensors. Since then, the mouse has changed its appearance a few times and it is still sold today.

In fact, Logitech has just announced today a brand new mouse with trackball: the MX Ergo. It was almost ten years ago that a new model came on the market.
