Antique of Alhambra Demitasse Cup Saucer C.F. BOSECK & CO. Austria Art Deco 1890
Demitasse cups and saucer was produced in Hadia Bohemia (presently Novy Bor, Czech Republic) by C.F. Boseck & Co. in the 1890s. or early 1900s.
The decoration, known as “Alhambra” is hand painted and is similar to patterns used for Persian rugs. In the Victorian era they were the “In Thing”.
